Director's Message

 On behalf of Uganda Youth Soccer Academy, we are proud to engage Ugandan youth helping them get an opportunity to play football as a way to get them into school in Uganda and abroad. Uganda Youth Soccer Academy, is geared to the development of youth football talents in Uganda.  

The UYSA is a Soccer Academy registered with the Registrar of Companies (Uganda) and affiliated to the Federation of Uganda  Football Association (FUFA) and National Council of Sports (NCS) to provide professional soccer coaching activities in collaboration with parents to talented boys and girls between the ages of 3 to 17 years. The academy manages about 150 registered youths.

In the UYSA work plan the Academy receives Soccer Coaches from the United States of America ,Europe and the United Kingdom who are friends of the academy, to provide free coaching expertise to the players and coaches and also organize football tournaments to create awareness like HIV Aids,Poverty,Hunger amongst the Youth of Uganda and participation in World Youth tournaments like Dana Cup, Football Festival Denmark, Vildbjerg Cup Denmark, Gothia Cup Sweden to promote international friendship and exposure in World Youth football
The Directors who are Local and Foreign are persons of integrity with vast soccer administration skills and technical soccer knowledge. The establishment of UYSA was a vision of parents and sympathizers of soccer talented children to develop them into well Educated Superstars.

 The catchment areas are all districts of Uganda organized in youth division groups form Uganda Youth Soccer Academy. The Academy was established on 5th October ,2007 and officially launched on 27th February ,2009 with celebration in London (UK) and Kampala (Uganda) by the Federation of Uganda Football Association Chief Executive Officer Edgar Watson, the current national soccer team (Cranes) head coach Bobby Williamson, diplomats, sports ministry officials, friends and members from media houses after two (2)years in operation, giving Uganda Youth an opportunity to provide education and participation in world youth tournaments.
